New and changed functions
- BlackLevel settings are now availabe for all color cameras.
- For Sony sensors, it is possible to switch off the BlackLevel function except of the following model:
- U3-3080CP-P (generally no BlackLevel settings)
- It is now possible to have an increment of 2 for all ROI (region of interest) settings independent of the sensor. This feature is supported the following camera families:
- USB 3 uEye CP Rev. 2.2 (except: U3-3080CP-P)
- uEye SE USB 3.1 Rev. 1.2
- uEye LE USB 3.1 Rev. 1.2
NOTICE! To use this new feature in IDS peak, version 2.2 or higher must be installed.
- For some sensors, it is now possible to use a maximum image size beyond the default settings. This sensor size can be accessed by decreasing offset and increasing height and width when using a RAW pixel format.

Breaking changes
The DeviceLinkThroughputLimit calculation was not correct. Correct calculation results in changes of range for AcquistionFrameRate and ExposureTime (default values and increment changes also).

Bug fixes ⇑
- Corrected visibility of DecimationSelector from Beginner to Expert.
- Corrected the namespace of the enumeration entries of FileOperationSelector and FileOpenMode.
- Fixed a random reboot of the camera families uEye XCP USB 3 and uEye XLE USB 3.
- U3-356x: Adjustments of the digital gain factor for binning as well as correct naming of the vertical binning mode.
- U3-368x: Binning is now correct and uses summing, so that image brightness increases.
Known issues ⇑
- The models U3-389x/U3-388x/U3-386x have a time delay between trigger and flash. If a 5 Hz trigger signal is applied to Line0, Line1 goes to "high" with a time delay.
- U3-388x: In some cases, the first image is incorrect after binning is activated.
- In some rare cases, transfer errors on the USB bus may cause the camera to restart during operation. This problem is only known in combination with the AMD X399 chipset.
- uEye XCP USB 3 & uEye XLE USB 3: If you increase the exposure time so that the frame rate drops, a single image can be defective.
- U3-368x: Due to the sensor, the first left column in binning mode has different color information. This column is a little darker than the next columns.
- U3-36L0XC: Color gain settings found with auto white balance are not applied when auto white balance is turned off.
